Oatmeal Spice Cookies

1 cup water
2 cups raisins
4 Tbs favorite sweetener
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp baking soda

Boil 1 cup water and 2 cups raisins. Cool for 5 minutes. Mix in other ingredients. Form into balls and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 325F degrees.
